Magnolia Warbler (Setophaga magnolia) - 25Sep2015

A breeding plumaged male Magnolia rivals any of the North American warblers. However, I still don't have a decent picture so here is a non-breeding bird taken at Lake Waccamaw State Park in NC. Affectionately known as Maggies, these little warblers are nice enough to come to eye level and even nicer to come to the coast.
