White-tailed Kite (Elanus leucurus) - 05Sep2015 & 21Oct2017

A species I have seen in California, TX, AZ and even Costa Rica.  Yet I still don't have excellent photos and I expect one day soon we will get one in NC.  So these pics will have to do.  Although we have the probably even better Swallow-tailed Kite, this one is one of my favorites.
