Bronze-winged Parrot (Pionus chalcopterus) - 21Aug2024

This photo of a Bronze-winged Parrot was taken from the open door of the van we were in when driving by and we saw this solitary bird perched on a dead snag.  Always have the camera at the ready!  They are found in the far western areas of Colombia and Ecuador.  This photo was from my second Colombia trip.
