Mouse-colored Tyrannulet - 28Jul2019

Birding in Colombia is sensory overload and its difficult to keep up as everyone is finding a new species I had never seen before every few minutes it seemed.  This is why I love photographing the birds, I can study them and relive the experience later.  This unassuming bird was quite similar to many other birds we saw at the time, but I think this was the only one we ended up seeing on the trip so I am happy I came away with some photos.  Taken at Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla.
