Gray Kingbird (Tyrannus dominicensis) - 28May2013 and 20Apr2016

Gray Kingbirds in general are very likable birds.  They are nice and loud and sit out in the open on telephone wires.  They apparently are very common on Eleuthera in the Bahamas although I usually miss them because they are only there in the summer and I go in the winter.  So when one shows up in NC it is a special treat.

This first picture is from May 2013 back when I first started photographing birds.  They were found by Mark K in Kure Beach and subsequently viewed by several local birders before they moved on.

This one was photographed in the Florida Keys were they are fairly regular.
