Crimson-collared Tanager (Ramphocelus sanguinolentus) - 26&29Nov2016

This is another of those eye-popping birds that are hard to get a good picture of.  Camera sensors don't seem to like this shade of mind bending red.  The first one was photographed at Arenal Observatory Lodge and the second at the La Paz Waterfall Gardens (not caged).
