Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) - 10Jan2016 and 08Oct2017

The most commonly seen hawk in NC, the Red-tailed Hawk is the one people always see on the sides of highways.  I captured this bird at the Battleship in Wilmington, NC.
