Here is another species that I have seen quite a few times in NC but still lack a decent photo of. It also is a species that novice birders have a hard time with, but the buffy breast is pretty definitive and if you see a genuine Lincoln's it makes you wonder how you botched IDs in the past.
These photos were taken at sunset in the Gilbert Ponds Riparian Preserve in AZ.
