Great Shearwater (Ardenna gravis) - 12Aug2017
Great Shearwater? A bit redundant methinks. All Shearwaters are great or even fantastic. Maybe they meant the size but there are bigger I think including Cory's. Anyhow they are beautiful birds and make me happy because they will follow the boat and come close for pictures. These pics are from a Patteson pelagic off NC.
