Costa's Hummingbird (Calypte costae) - 01Dec2015

Probably the most beautiful hummer in the USA, in my humble opinion.  There is something about how the gorget flares out at the bottom that gets me excited.  That being said, I still need to crush one.  Here is a placeholder until then from Ventana Canyon in AZ.

The below shot is obviously bad, but it shows the purple color nicely.
