Sooty Shearwater (Ardenna grisea) - 21May2015

I have better pics from California, but I kind of like this speed blur from a Patteson pelagic out of Hatteras.  Sooty Shearwaters in CA can number in the thousands.  Even on the east coast large flights of them can be seen close to shore.
