Western Meadowlark (Sturnella neglecta) - 19Mar2015
Even though this shot was from my old camera, I love the fact that the Western Meadowlark is singing from the heel of a boot. Look closely and you can see the yellow malar which distinguishes it from an Eastern Meadowlark. This was taken from the middle of nowhere in Nebraska.
