Red-legged Honeycreeper (Cyanerpes cyaneus) - 24Nov2016

Probably one of the most visually crippling birds of Costa Rica, the Red-legged Honeycreeper conveniently will come in to fruit feeders.  However, it is really nice to get pictures of them in their natural habitat without a bunch of rotting bananas in the picture.  I got plenty of those too.  This one was at Arenal Observatory Lodge.
