For some reason I did not expect this species in the jungle understory, I figured I would see it on a fence post. However, the few that I saw on my trip to the Yucatan in Mexico were all well concealed in the understory with only brief looks in between.
This one was at Muyil archeologic site south of Tulum.
This one was seen at our hotel Jolie Jungle.
