Yellow-throated Vireo (Vireo flavifrons) - 09May2017

These colorful vireos are breeders in NC but it usually is not easy to find them on breeding grounds in the coastal plain.

Luckily this year I found some in New Hanover County.  Here are some pics from the woods on the northern border of the county.
