White-collared Manakin (Manacus candei) - 27Nov2016

I was lucky to come away with a few photos this day.  It poured all day and we nearly had the only hurricane to hit Costa Rica in a long time.  The hurricane winds stayed in Nicaragua but tropical storm force winds and flooding blighted our time in Sarapiqui.  First is the female and then the quick glimpse of the male. The electric buzz of their call is really something to hear.
