Ring-necked Duck (Aythya collaris) - 09Jan2017 & 01Jan2018 & 27Jan2014

I know what you are thinking, why not call it a Ring-billed Duck?  Good question.  It does in fact have a ring around its neck but unless you are a hunter and have one in hand, you probably would never see it.
