Greater Roadrunner (Geococcyx californianus) - 18Nov2015

The quintessential bird of the American southwest, this Greater Roadrunner was found in Gilbert, AZ.  It was fluffing up it's back feathers to soak up the sun and presumably get rid of mites and parasites.
