Swallow-tailed Kite (Elanoides forficatus) - 25May2015

This is pretty much the most coveted bird in NC.  I will need to do it justice by getting a better quality picture.  This was taken where almost all my kite sightings are in Northwest, NC a small farming community northwest of Wilmington.  The way they acrobatically fly catching dragonflies and other insects, and the black-and-white motif really makes this the kind of bird everyone can get behind.
