Black-and-white Owl (Ciccaba nigrolineata) - 03Dec2013

This amazing owl was located in the middle of a busy city park in Orotina, Costa Rica.  I had to add all the locals in the park if they knew where it was and the first 10 or so people looked at me like I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about.  Finally some old guy showed me.
