Purple Gallinule (Porphyrio martinica) - 26Apr2014

I still can't believe I missed this bird during my 2018 big year.  There was one hanging out on the OBX for weeks and I just couldn't get motivated enough to get out there in time.  This particular one in 2014 was on the Buxton Woods Trail in Buxton and never came out far enough for a proper crushing.
