Southern Screamer (Chauna torquata) - 19Aug2022

Out of the three Screamer species found in South America, this is the only one that I have obtained decent photos of.  This one was seen in the southern Pantanal of Brazil in the state of Mato Grosso do Sol.  Most of them are quite wary and stay away from humans, but we got lucky that this particular one was feeling lazy enough that it didn't fly away.
