Although the Chestnut-winged Chachalaca is endemic to Colombia and is only found in a relatively small geographic range, it is fairly common in the right spots. It previously was conspecific with the Gray-headed Chachalaca which I have seen in Costa Rica but now is considered a distinct species. My photos are crappy, but I don't know when I will ever make it back to this region so here is the best I could muster.
