This particular stop (Peaje Tasajera) on the way from Barranquilla to Santa Marta was not optimal as all the birds were very distant and it was hotter than hell itself so the heat shimmer was brutal. However, you can't bird in the morning all day... so I will take what I can get. Yellow-billed Terns are resident birds in South America that are a little bigger than Least Terns but quite similar. I will improve these pics for sure as soon as this damn pandemic is over.
