Hutton's Vireo (Vireo Huttoni) - 27Nov2015

You would be excused if you thought this was a Ruby-crowned Kinglet.  Amazing that these two species that are so diverged on the evolutionary scale could look so similar.  When you see them in action, you can pick them out much more easily than you would think as they are larger than the RCKI and the bill is larger too and it moves much less frenetically than the RCKI.  This one was photographed in Madera Canyon in AZ.
