The Orange-backed Troupial is a close relative of the Venezuelan Troupial but their ranges don't overlap. The Orange-backed Troupial ranges further south and west, in Brazil, Paraguay, Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru and one more disjunct population in Guyana. All my photos are from the Pantanal in Brazil.
