Venezuelan Troupial (Icterus icterus) - 24Dec2014

The Venezuelan Troupial is the national bird of Venezuela and although its range is almost entirely in Venezuela, it does spill over into Colombia and has also established populations in some of the Caribbean due to released caged birds dating as far back as the colonial era.  Puerto Rico has a large population of Venezuelan Troupials and that is where I got the below photo back in 2014 when I was using a hand me down Rebel camera.
