Peach-fronted Parakeet (Eupsittula aurea) - 11&21Aug2022

Peach-fronted Parakeet has a much wider range and is more common than it's Orange-fronted cousin.  It can be seen in a large portion of South America including a wide swath of Brazil which is where I saw these in the Pantanal.  They make nests in termite mounds much like their Orange-fronted cousins but they are more flexible in that they will use mounds on the ground as well as the arboreal termite nests whereas the Orange-fronted use primarily arboreal ones.
