The Mountain Cacique looks a lot like the Yellow-rumped Cacique but the yellow on the rump is higher up and they inhabit montane forests of the Andes from Venezuela down to Bolivia. In these photos taken in Colombia you can't even see the yellow rump. This species has two sub-species that are ripe for a split. The Northern population has a characteristic yellow slash on the shoulder like this one, and the Southern population does not.
