Plain Tyrannulet (Inezia inornata) - 20Aug2022
This is plain-looking tyrannulet, not a tyrannulet that lives on the plain.  They inhabit scrubby woodlands and gallery forests of the very central portion of South America including the Pantanal which is where I photographed this one.  They look a lot like a load of other tyrranulets that are in a whole other genus, so I suppose they are a victim of convergent evolution.
