This grosbeak is mostly found along the Pacific coasts of Ecuador and Peru, but it has a few disjunct populations that live along the north of Colombia and Venezuela and even across in Trinidad and Tobago. I took this photo up in the Santa Marta range on my first trip to Colombia.
