This Brazilian endemic is only found in northeastern Brazil. It currently has a Vulnerable status per IUCN criteria mainly due to deforestation and habitat loss. We first had it in Guaramiranga which is where my first two photos are. However, a couple days later, we hung out with a tame one that has been rehabbed at Sitio Pau Preto in Potengi and become part of the family.
