This Vulnerable species per IUCN criteria is a Brazilian endemic. It inhabits coastal Atlantic rainforest along the southeast coast of Brazil. We saw a female first in Mata de São João but then I picked out a nice male a week later on the road to Conduru National Park in Uruçuca. Both were in Bahia State.
