Dubois's Seedeater is a Brazilian endemic in the southeast including Bahia State which is where I got mine. Some taxonomies have it as a subspecies of Yellow-bellied Seedeater, but the taxonomy of eBird (Clements) has it as a separate species. Dubois's flavor has a more white versus yellow belly and a darker back. We had this one in the Chapada Diamantina mountain range in Bahia State.
